Dalia was born in Tel-Aviv in 1950. She has started her art studies in the WIZO France Secondary school where she was exposed to the finest artists from the Russian School like Rosenthalis and Tepler. After 4 years in secondary school she continued her art studies in the Art College, where she was exposed to the modern art of the 50s, 60s and 70s. Among her teachers there where some renown artists like Rafi Lavi, Nachum Tevet and Efrat Nathan. In that time she was influenced by the modern American School , with artists like Jasper Johns, Robert Rauschenberg, Jim Dwain, Alberto Giacometti, and Susanne Rotenberg who have promoted mixed media collages composed of different objects like drawings, photographs and prints with oil painting. Her work was also influenced by the white and yellow lights of her country, where we have bright sunshine most of the year.
Along the years she exhibited in individual and group exhibits, slowly building her own clientele of fine art fans and collectors, who like her mixed oil and pastel paintings and mixed media collages, where pink and other soft colours are dominant. Her paintings are sold by various art galleries and in public auctions and can be found in many private homes and offices. People who buy her art clearly identify with her delicate personality which is expressed in her work.
In 1982 Dalia was admitted to the Israeli Painters and Sculptors Association.
