Moshe Atiya was born in Jerusalem, 1949. A father and a grandfather of 3. From 1972 a member of kibbutz Kfar Blum, engage in agriculture and tourism.
Since 1994 living and working in Rosh-Pina.
Moshe is a self-taught artist. Expressing himself in an abstract painting of multi-layers textures and compositions in oil colors, Sometime with combination of pastel colors and carbon, using spatula and brushes on carton, boards and canvas.
He combines in his paintings implied figures of persons, books and apples.
Studding in a drawing workshop by the artist Marcuson from Kfar --Hanassi, was a preliminary basis and after it, Moshe continued to progress mostly by observing and self learning.
Moshe is an autodidact, who draws in an authentic and instinctive way, from an emotional, inner place. He represents in his paintings a personal expression of deep and free feelings that express the relationship between him and himself and between him, the material and the color.
