David Hendler, Painter. b.1904, Kiev. Immigrated to Israel 1924. Died 1984. Studied drawing under Professor Pichel, Academy of Prague. Won the Dizengoff Prize. During the thirties he painted with Stematsky and Arieh Navon. He was a member of the "Massad" Group. And considered to be an autodidact who was influenced mainly by modern French painting and by Dutch Masters. Participated in many exhibitions during the thirties and forties.
